Psoriasis is a chronic condition in which skin cells can build up and form scales and itchy, dry patches. People with Psoriasis may also experience joint pain and stiffness, skin issues (dryness, flaking/ peeling, fissures, bumps, thickness, or redness), depression, and inflamed tendons. There is no cure for Psoriasis, but treatments are aimed at slowing skin growth and removing scales. They include ointments, medications, and light therapy.
